Manual for Setting Up Clothing Sets

To properly apply clothing sets, we need to create a character (MetaHuman) with the correctly trimmed body.

MetaHuman Setup:

  1. In MetaHuman Creator (MHC), select Proportion > Tall (all our clothing sets are designed for the Tall body type).
  2. Choose the character's weight: Fat, Normal, or Thin.
  3. Based on the type of clothing set (VR4D), select the appropriate clothing for the MetaHuman.
  4. Once everything is set, name the character accordingly and download it into the project.

Clothing Implementation:

  1. Open the MetaHuman Blueprint Class and delete the default MetaHuman clothing.
  2. From the VR4D set, select the mesh that corresponds to the chosen body weight (Fat, Normal, or Thin).
  3. Click and drop the mesh onto the MetaHuman's body.
  4. In the Construction Script, link the VR4D set to Enable Master Pose.
  5. Done! The VR4D set is now configured for the MetaHuman character.
